successful completion of the Competition Authority approval process, which
allowed Moka United Payment Services and Electronic Money Inc., one of Turkey’s
largest domestic payment services and electronic money companies, to acquire
some of the shares in Turan Teknoloji Inc., ranked among Turkey’s top 50
startups by Forbes Turkey.
This transaction, conducted within the
framework of the Law on the Protection of Competition, marks not only a
strategic restructuring in Turkey’s rapidly growing fintech sector but also
represents a defining moment in the country’s technology investment ecosystem.
